Marketing: The ERP system the company installed could not support strategic planning, 'what-ifs', or projections. I developed the first decision support system using Lotus 1-2-3 and WordPerfect to accomplish what a mini-computer could not. As a result, the company was able better able to control inventories, improve deliveries, establish better customer retention, and attrach more profitable customers.
