firm created to support the business manager in making better decisions.

and distributed/Internet based solutions.
While IT technologies
may change rapidly, the way humans process information and make decisions
does not. Managers need timely and accurate information. They need
systems that allow personal factors, such as risk preference, to be
included in their decision support applications. They need to share
a common understanding of the definitions of what things mean with
other decision makers in the organization. They need to be aware of
the critical points when systems need intervention. They need systems
that suit their style. This is a difficult challenge and the workers
are few.
